A page says no person is selected

What to do when Events, Notes or Family tree ask you to pick a person first.

You choose Family tree, Events or Notes. The page says Select a person or No person selected.

Cause

These pages show one person at a time. You have not opened anyone yet, or you removed the tree that the person came from. The chip that starts with Showing names nobody.

Procedure

1. Type a name in the search box at the top, then choose Search.
2. Choose the card of the person you want.

   The chip that starts with Showing shows their name. The page now works.

Cause

The page is empty because nothing has been added to the tree yet. Where records are kept, Who made this tree and Research questions and notes start empty.

Choose + and add the first one.
