Choose how the app looks

Pick a colour theme, and a light or dark look, for this computer.

About this task

These settings are for this computer only. They do not change your family tree files.

Procedure

  1. Choose Preferences in the menu.

    The page shows two groups of choices.

  2. Under Theme, choose a set of colours.

    The first group has three themes, and a row of four colour squares shows each one. Oxford and slate is the one in the pictures in this manual.

  3. Under Appearance, choose Follow the system, Light or Dark.

    The first choice copies the setting you made in Windows.

Results

The change shows at once. The app keeps your choice the next time you open it.
